'Senorita, My Jaana' - NEW DJ Sangeen Remix!

This is one of my favorite projects of this year! This concept originally started with a vision to create a bollywood remix to Shawn Mendes’s and Camila Cabello’s new hit song, “Señorita”. As I started exploring options of which song blends well with the original, I came across New Rules by Dua Lipa - and they went together perfectly. The tricky part was finding the right hindi song to fit into this mixture, both lyrically and musically. The first option I explored was Meri Makhna Meri Soniye by the legendary, Amitabh Bachan, however it just didnt quite sound right. As I went down my library, I came across the song O O Jaane Jaana from Salman Khans movie, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya and began by sampling that iconic guitar that comes in at 0:37 behind the initial introduction of New Rules. I continued with the concept of all 3 songs, and the rest meshed together perfectly :)

From the music mixing to the video, everything you see and hear was made in house by the Awaaz team.
